Moreland City Council is located in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne and is one of the most populous and culturally diverse municipalities. Located in Coburg, Moreland City Council is just 8km from the CBD and offers excellent public transport and cycling access for employees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to provide additional expertise in the project management sphere.  This includes leading and managing the Project Management Office, effectively championing project management across the organisation, continuing to implement improvement program as well as providing hands on support to key corporate projects by conducting quality reviews and / or project managing them to enable effective outcomes. 

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with Councillors, Moreland staff and community stakeholders, demonstrated experience in project management and highly developed analytical skills. You will also actively contribute to the strategic thinking, organisational culture and achievement of Council’s vision and goals.

Certification in the Prince2 project management methodology and / or a tertiary qualification in project management is required as well as an understanding of Local Government sector.
