ABOUT THE ROLE
Moreland City Council is offering a fantastic opportunity for an Aquatic and Leisure Services Project Officer who enjoys contact with the community and working with a dynamic team to assist with the management, operations, maintenance and capital works projects of the aquatic and leisure facilities within Moreland.

ABOUT MORLAND
The City of Moreland is changing as we align our organisation to meet the needs of a fast growing city and home to more than 170,000 residents who are culturally and linguistically diverse, speaking more than 140 different languages. To provide for the community we have 6 aquatic and leisure facilities, which include 2 seasonal standalone outdoor pools and a community sports hall.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE

  • Sound experience in the operations of aquatic and leisure facilities
  • Experience in report writing and data analysis
  • Highly developed skills in Relationship Management
  • Demonstrated experience within Project Management as well as Contract Management
  • Experience in Performance Management is highly desirable 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
