ABOUT THE ROLE 

The position involves supporting the Youth Officer (Marketing and Promotions) to improve the quality, accuracy and accessibility of information on services and programs available for young people in Moreland, with the aim to simplify access to services. 

The position will involve research and investigation into the full range of programs, services and opportunities available to young people in Moreland, at any given time and to regularly update this information. 

The information collected will be used to create a local directory and other promotional collateral to assist Youth Services staff and the community to improve their knowledge and awareness of support options available to young people.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE

  • Must have VCE or equivalent
  • Skills in administration and some experience in marketing and communications is desirable.
  • Demonstrated competency in IT software systems, including website and other social media applications
  • Working with Children Card is essential
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
