ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working within a dynamic team. Your primary role will be to provide administration support via Commercial Plus and Tenement Management  to the Waste Unit within City Services. The role is currently a part time role 28 hours per week Monday to Friday (this is flexible).

This role is responsible for the integrity of data in property services module of Pathway, including updating and maintaining services, analysis of data, generating reports and problem solving.  Experience in dealing with a high volume of data, attention to detail, excel skills and Pathway knowledge desirable.

The role requires a strong ability to use various systems, processes and data sets and develop and adapt them when required.

  • Report and reconcile waste service data including services, CRS and waste charges for various collection contracts, projects and other stakeholders.
  • Actively participate, review and optimise the bin delivery and maintenance reporting and CRS handling. Including appropriate action of FOGO size changes, Shared FOGO deliveries, reviews and audit's at MUD’s and various other CRS types
  • Actively participate as kerbside waste reform working group member and provision of timely and accurate support and facilitation of actions from working groups and waste projects.
  • Management of council’s commercial plus service including maintenance of existing and new customers, changes to services including removal of service. Coordinating, bin delivery and removal, bi annual invoicing and follow up of debt.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE 

  • High level of proficiency in the use of computer software packages including Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word and Excel).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in office administration.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • VCE or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through on the job experience.
