ABOUT THE ROLE

As a School Crossing Supervisor you will assist students and families to travel safely to and from school. The crossings are located at selected intersections, pedestrian light crossings and at flagged crossings across the city.

Our crossings operate Monday to Friday (during school terms) between the hours of 8.00am and 9.00am, and 3.00pm and 4.00pm.

Hourly rate starts at $33.19 plus superannuation

ABOUT YOU

  • be available to work Monday to Friday 8.00am and 9.00am, and 3.00pm and 4.00pm during the school term.
  • be medically fit
  • have your own transport
  • be willing to work in varying weather conditions
  • have good communication skills
  • pass a police check and get/have a Working with Children Card
  • be willing to work across various locations within Moreland
  • those applying for casual roles must have a vehicle and be willing to operate a crossing at short notice
  • enjoy engaging with children and families
  • be able to use a mobile phone and be willing to learn new technology
