Coordinator Project Management Services

The position involves:
- Co-ordinate the activities of the EPMO project management services team and ensure high level service delivery within constrained time frames and within budget.
- Provide coaching, advice and support to Project Managers, Project Sponsors and project team members as required to ensure a successful project outcome.
- Application of effective quality assurance of key project documents against defined standards for projects under management.
- Contribution to the continuous improvement of the organisations project management capability and maturity.
- Co-ordinate the effective planning, monitoring and tracking of projects managed by the EPMO in alignment with the Councils Project Guidance (PG) methodology.
Applicants will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and significant experience in project roles.
- Experience managing a team (other than a project team), including defining and improving work practices and development of direct reports.
- Proven success in delivery of projects with multi-disciplinary teams across the entire project lifecycle over a significant number of years.
- Track record of compliance with project Governance, project methodology, status reporting and financial expenditure tracking.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to communicate and build positive and productive working relationships with people at all levels in an organisation.
- Demonstrated commitment to a customer service mindset and to prioritising collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Experience with resource planning and resource management to meet variable resource demands, highly desirable.
