A rare and exciting opportunity to join the City of Stonnington’s Festivals & Events Unit is here!
The Festival & Events Unit develops and delivers vibrant, creative and cultural community programs across Stonnington, with over 12 different events, 3 festivals and a series as workshops, exhibitions and indigenous programs each year.
As the Coordinator Festivals & Events, you will be responsible for leading and managing employees and contractors, managing a significant budget, developing innovative programs, providing advice and event coordination and deploying a substantial grants program.
To be successful in this role you must be able to lead, motivate and manage an effective team, undertake risk assessments to manage and control hazards, communicate clearly and concisely with the ability to manage issues and complaints, manage a complex budget with appropriate workforce planning and have significant knowledge of the events and festival industry.
