- Salary: From $103,485 to $115,206 per annum + Superannuation + monthly ADO

The City of Stonnington, located in inner Melbourne, is seeking a Statutory Planning Coordinator to lead a team of Statutory Planners, Major Project Planners, Subdivision Officers and Planning Investigation Officers and provide ongoing policy reviews to ensure the most efficient implementation of Council’s statutory planning initiatives and programs.
As Coordinator Statutory Planning, you will coordinate, allocate and monitor the planning approval functions, prepare and present high quality correspondence, provide expert technical advice and build strong relationships with key external agencies. You will also be responsible for staff management and coaching, research and analysis, consultation, project management and advising and representing Council.
With significant commercial and residential development, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional to make their mark in one of Melbourne’s premier municipalities. As the successful applicant you will possess a relevant tertiary qualification, extensive experience in Statutory Planning, extensive people management experience including developing and motivating staff and demonstrated skills in community consultation and engagement.
