The City of Stonnington’s Children & Family Services Department is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Maternal & Child Health Nurse to join our progressive and cohesive team.
As a Maternal & Child Health Nurse you will be responsible for providing a family centred Maternal & Child Health Service that maximises the health potential of children 0-6 years and their families.
As a Maternal & Child Health Nurse you will utilise you highly developed communication skills to work collaboratively with the MCH team, provide professional and attentive assessments and resolve client enquiries in a courteous manner.
In addition to your ability to understand of families’ support needs, child protection issues and knowledge of child development, you will also possess the following key qualifications:
• A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as both a registered nurse and a registered midwife and to also hold recognised qualifications in Child, Family and Community nursing.
• A current drivers licence
• A current and valid Working with Children Check
• Ability to complete a satisfactory police check
