Located at Malvern Town Hall, Stonnington’s Environmental Health Team is seeking two highly motivated, qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officers to join its busy and supportive team. One permanent full time position and one temporary full time position (12 months maternity leave cover) are available.

As an Environmental Health Officer at Stonnington you will be a strong team player, enthusiastic and committed to improving the health of the community through education and enforcement strategies. Specifically you will be responsible for registration, approvals and assessment, investigating and resolving complaints, providing advice and information on prevention of infectious diseases, education and advice and managing non-compliance.

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Environmental Health or equivalent and a strong understanding of and experience in the relevant legislation and underlying principles. Additionally, your excellent organisational and problem solving skills coupled with a proactive attitude will assist you to thrive in this position whilst being supported to achieve your best.
