As a Project Manager (Design & Construction) at the City of Stonnington, you will be responsible for working on a range of large scale diverse and challenging municipal projects with a focus on project management and/or works supervision for Council’s road and drain asset upgrading and refurbishment works. Additionally, you will assess the impact of works by utility authorities on these assets and provide guidance to fellow team members as required.
As the successful candidate, you will possess a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, relevant experience and strong liaison skills. Additionally, you will have well developed contract and project management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage construction projects on time and to set budgets. Your previous experience in assessing tenders and making recommendations regarding appropriate contractors coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills will assist in your success in this role.
