- Salary: $88,816 to $96,189 per annum (includes super) + monthly ADO

Join the City of Stonington’s Strategic Planning Team, which provides the strategic framework for appropriate town planning, urban design and place making within Stonnington’s municipality. Our Strategic Planning Team aims to achieve high quality land use and development outcomes for the community through the management of the Stonnington Planning Scheme, and the development of strategy and policy to direct and manage change.
As a Senior Strategic Planner, you will expand your portfolio and skills through preparing and assisting with policy and strategic development for land use, undertaking planning scheme amendments and researching and analysing community planning issues that affect the municipality. You will also undertake all aspects of assigned planning scheme amendments, land use, built form and community planning studies including customer enquiries, policy analysis, research, policy development, managing consultants, preparing and presenting Council reports.
The successful applicant will have Bachelor or Diploma of Town Planning or equivalent as well as strategic planning experience, along with eligibility for corporate membership of the P.I.A, experience in preparing strategic planning strategies and policies as well as conceptual skills and well developed written and verbal communication skills.
