The City of Stonnington has an exciting opportunity for a Cadet Building Surveyor to progress their career and gain valuable experience. The position is designed for learning and development while contributing to the effective building control services of Council.
In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to Technical Officers, Inspectors and Building Surveyors, researching information and report writing. You will have a focus on improved building control, safety and general amenity in order to achieve a level that suits the expectations of the customer and the broader community.
To be suitable for this role, you will have a high level of integrity, conscientiousness, a willingness to learn, be an effective listener and have a high attention to detail. You will be discrete with sensitive information, work positively in a team environment whilst also having the ability to work autonomously.
