The City of Stonnington is seeking a Principal Strategic Planner to join our progressive and diligent City Strategy Department. This is a perfect opportunity to diversify your experience through implementing a range of Council objectives including research and consultation, managing complex projects and developing strategy and policy for significant land use and built form.
As the successful applicant you will possess a Bachelor or Diploma of Town Planning or equivalent as well as significant strategic planning experience in urban planning. You will have a thorough understanding of the Victorian planning legislation framework, the Victorian Planning Provisions and Planning Schemes, experience in preparing a number of strategic planning strategies and providing specialist planning advice on high level strategic projects.
This Principal Strategic Planner position is a temporary parental leave vacancy and has the flexibility to be filled on a full time or part time basis.
