Are you a well-organised administration & customer service professional who thrives in an environment of multiple tasks, tight deadlines and regular interaction with internal staff, external stakeholders and customers?
If you are passionate about providing high level administrative support and customer service then we have a fantastic maternity leave cover position available until March 2019 in a large, diverse, output-driven business unit of Council. As part of our Planning Support team, you will be encouraged to achieve your best and thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment.
As Planning Support Officer you will play an integral role in providing administrative and telephone support to the Statutory Planning Unit. Additionally you will provide professional advice and contribute to the continuous improvement of the unit. This is a great temporary opportunity for someone who is seeking to further advance their skills in administration and customer service.
To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter who thrives under pressure and has the ability to positively contribute in a motivated team environment. You will have strong communication and time management skills, as well as sound problem solving and organisational abilities. Additionally you will have highly developed computer skills and database experience to undertake a range of administrative tasks to the highest standard. Previous experience in an administrative and customer service/call centre role is essential.
