The City of Stonnington has an exciting opportunity for a Fast Track Planner to join our Statutory Planning team on a permanent full time basis, located in our modern and sustainable office in Malvern.
In this position you will be responsible for assessing and processing VicSmart and other planning applications as well as providing advice and information on planning applications, planning scheme requirements and Council policies to the public and to planning applicants.
To be successful you will have or be working towards a tertiary qualification in town planning or a related field or an equivalent qualification sufficient to be eligible for corporate membership of the P.I.A along with demonstrated experience in a planning environment. Additionally you will have knowledge of the Planning and Environment Act as well as the application of planning theory and principles to planning applications and appeals.
