As the Team Leader Planning Support you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the Planning Support Team including the coordination of resources and systems, management and monitoring of staffing levels and coordination of leave and rosters. Additionally you’ll be responsible for analysing statistics, monitoring the performance of the unit, identifying areas for improvement and coordinating regular team meetings and team building initiatives.
In leading a vital unit of Council, we’re looking for an outstanding induvial with:
- Demonstrated people management expertise with evidence of experience in developing cohesive and effective teams
- Excellent customer service skills with experience in handling complex and sometimes difficult customer situations
- A creative and forward thinking mind with experience in process improvement and innovation
- Effective methods for creating strong relationships both internally and externally
