Make 2020 you’re year as the City of Stonnington’s Team Leader of Youth Services! We’re looking for a highly capable youth services professional with strong leadership, partnership and strategy experience who can lead and manage the Youth Services Team. Working from a new location at Grattan Gardens in the heart of Prahran, you’ll be responsible for managing a dynamic team, overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of Youth Services, including staff rosters, supervision and professional development of staff, stakeholder liaison and partnerships policy and strategy development, budgets and community development. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for planning, developing and supporting services and programs for young people within the municipality, framed within a youth participation and strengths-based approach.
As the successful applicant, you are able to hit the ground running and will possess a tertiary qualification in the relevant field, the ability to lead and manage a team, experience in innovative youth program planning, case management, and managing time and priorities. Your skills in budget preparation and monitoring, and your ability to be a positive and effective team member will assist in your success in this position.
