We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accounting Coordinator to join the Finance Department on a permanent full time basis, located at our modern and sustainable office on Glenferrie Road in Malvern, surrounded by an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants.
In this position, you’ll lead the effective financial management of Council building financial capability and understanding of the key financial and business drivers for the organisation. Additionally, you’ll provide insight that contributes to strategic decision making for Council’s long term financial sustainability and lead the management accounting team to deliver effective finance business partnering across the organisation.
We’re looking for a CPA/CA qualified professional with experience in leading the financial planning of a large organisation including the budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes. Also important is the ability to lead, motivate and develop a customer-focused team along with high level experience in building relationships, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence strategic decisions and support the development of policy.
