As a Senior Strategic Grants Advisor, some of your day-to-day duties will include:
• Working with various stakeholders across the organisation in the preparation of high-quality grant applications
• Preparing and delivering accurate records and reports
• Identifying and coordinating funding sources (grants) that are aligned with Council’s strategy, and relevant to Council’s initiatives, capital works program and services areas
• Developing and maintaining a network of contacts within Council, State and Federal Government departments, other local government bodies, philanthropic and private sectors
To succeed in this position you will need:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in the preparation of grant applications and report writing.
• A creative and analytical mindset, an eye for detail and appreciation for deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Flexibility and enthusiasm to jump in and support the wider Department, Directorate and organisation in areas outside the norm.
