As an Active Stonnington Program Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of the strategy, establishing key stakeholder relationships, designing and coordinating active programs and carrying out research and data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and services delivered by Council.
Strong knowledge and understanding of current issues facing communities relating to an active lifestyle is essential to be considered for this position, along with a drive and passion for forging strong community and stakeholder relationships. You will facilitate internal and external working groups aimed at developing and promoting opportunities for active lifestyles across all segments of the Stonnington community.
Importantly, we’re looking for a candidate with knowledge of Health Promotion principles, and experience in effectively promoting and delivering a range of services to engage with a diverse community. This will include the use of various marketing strategies and platforms, including social medias. Qualifications in health sciences will be highly regarded.
Although this position is full time, we are willing to consider flexible working arrangements. This is a maternity leave backfill position for approximately 12 months.
