Job Description

The award winning Prahran Square is located off Chapel street, in the heart of Prahran and is surrounded by some of the best cafes, restaurants and shops in Melbourne. This new community and events space is filled with stunning art installations, children's play areas, leafy escapes and much more.  

As an Activation Officer working within our Events, Arts and Culture Department, you'll be responsible for managing and implementing the planning and delivery of events, programming and place activation at Prahran Square. Through excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, and established relationships, you'll attract, manage and oversee third party hirers and partners ensuring alignment to strategic imperatives and outcomes. 

This is a great opportunity to bring life back to Prahran, help improve socio-economic outcomes for local businesses, artists and performers, and lift community spirit. 

The position is permanent full time with an annual salary range of $88,661 to $96,020 per annum + 10 % superannuation, a monthly accrued day off and a hybrid working from home / office arrangement. Part time arrangements may be considered of over 28 hours per week.
