Job Description

The Coordinator Community Engagement at the City of Stonnington will develop a high performing team that supports our community to provide feedback and input into our policies, initiatives and projects.

We’re looking for someone who can work with our Manager Communications and Engagement and people right across our organisation to lead engagement projects and strategy work, and also build internal capacity to deliver deliberative and consultative engagement programs.

This is a permanent full time position with an annual salary range of $98,713 to $109,639 per annum + 10% superannuation + a monthly day off arrangement. Consideration may be given to part time arrangements of 30 or more hours per week. 

Desired Skills and Experience

The Victorian Government’s Local Government Act 2020 sets a high benchmark for engagement for Councils and as an experienced community engagement professional you’ll have the opportunity to build, shape and lead a team that implements community engagement strategies that input into major Council projects, priorities and policies. You’ll also work closely with our communications team to make sure these opportunities are reaching the people they need to.
