City of Stonnington has an opportunity for a Community Services Planner reporting directly to the Manager Community Services, focused on the strategic planning, policy development, community support and delivery of Community Services. Key projects will involve coordinating and embedding the Birth -25 Strategy across the organisation and assisting with Community Services Capital Works Program.
Additionally, this role will Initiate and lead innovative projects and strategies to enhance services for Stonnington families and improve community connectedness such as Central Enrolment and three-year-old kindergarten.
This is a temporary full time opportunity until April 2023 with an annual salary range of $88,661 to $96,020 per annum + 10% superannuation and a monthly day off arrangement.
Desired Skills and Experience
To succeed in this position you will need:
Project management skills
Experience in Early Years, Community Services or Community Development and ideally a qualification to go with
Excellent people skills to liaise and consult effectively with service users and providers, committees of management, internal business units and other stakeholders
Understanding and knowledge of early childhood service delivery and the VIC Child Safe Standards and Reportable Conduct Scheme
