Job Description

A leadership opportunity is available at Stonnington where you will lead the delivery of property management services, enhance the value of Council's property portfolio and improve financial sustainable for Council and the Community. As a Property Coordinator, some of your duties will include:

  • Providing strategic direction to stakeholders at all levels across the organisation 
  • Leading and developing a team, and providing advice and guidance consultants and contractors that may be engaged from time to time 
  • Leading the Property Assessment Committee 
  • Management of lease documentation, regular reporting and related policies and processes
  • Early identification and mitigation of risks that may significantly impact on the council property portfolio such as funding, reputational, political and other risks

This is a permanent full time position with an annual salary range of $113,683 to $126,560 plus 10% super and a monthly day off, working a hybrid of home and office. 

Desired Skills and Experience

To succeed in this position you will need:

  • Proven leadership skills
  • Extensive specialist experience in property law, commercial, acquisitions and disposals
  • Property/Business related tertiary qualification
  • Effective processes for risk identification and management
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Highly strategic and experienced with complex projects
