Job Description

As Business Support Officer for our Procurement Team you will maintain Council’s Contracts Compliance Management System and Contract Register, ensuring records are accurate and kept up-to-date, meeting auditing requirements. Using your excellent organisational abilities and customer service skills you are responsible for coordinating the flow of information from internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you are responsible for opening contracts and providing relevant procurement and contracting templates to internal customers and consultants. Day to day you will be uploading and disseminating forum questions and closing processes for quotations and tenders using Council’s e-Tendering portal, including advertisement. You will assist with the administration of the Rapid Global System as well as provide administrative support within the Contracts and Procurement Business Unit including in tender, quotation and contract administration task records are kept up-to-date. You will also provide support to staff on the Procurement Policy and related procedures and procurement systems.

This is a permanent full time position with an annual salary range of $67,296 - $71,707 per annum + 10.5 % superannuation and a monthly day off arrangement.  A hybrid flexible work arrangement with a minimum of 2 days within the office is available for this role.   • Experience in an administrative role, providing a range of business support activities and tasks. Sound knowledge of procurement processes and activities highly desirable preferable.
