Are you committed to the creation of innovative and conceptual designs? Join the Transport and Public Places Department as our new Landscape Architect/Urban Designer!

You will be responsible for the preparation of landscape master plans, manage consultants, provide specialist landscape and urban design advice, assist in the preparation of capital works programs, implement capital works projects and coordinate special projects. Key projects associated with this position include creating a master plan for a thriving retail precinct including consultation with the community, creating the master plan document and identifying key change projects.

You will possess a tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design, demonstrated conceptual and design skills, project planning and management skills, skills and experience in public consultation, a commitment to working in multi disciplinary teams and a demonstrated ability to provide efficient customer service internal and external to Council.
