Have you got what it takes to make a real difference? We are seeking a motivated Solar Saver Support Officer to join our Environment and Community Outcomes team at Darebin Council to contribute to the innovative and award-winning Darebin Solar Saver program.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of the Solar Saver program to low income households, residents and businesses. This position works within the Energy and Adaptation team with a specific focus on responding to the Climate Emergency in Darebin and globally and supporting Council’s Climate Emergency Plan.

The successful applicant will possess:
• Sound knowledge and commitment to environmental and sustainability issues and in particular residential solar PV installation
• Demonstrated customer service management and administrative skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to establish and maintain sound effective working relationships residents, stakeholder organisations, the community and effectively communicate complex issues
