The Festivals and Events unit is seeking an experienced arts leader to join the team. The successful incumbent will be required to provide clear and inspiring leadership and coordinate the development, delivery and evaluation of Council’s diverse and contemporary festivals and events.

This is a key time for the festivals and events team and the successful incumbent will be required to lead the transition to a new Future of Festivals in Darebin framework.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Team leadership and staff management
• Event management
• Event research and development
• Budget management
• Community engagement and stakeholder management
