About the Role
As the Transport Engineer, you will provide technical advice on a range of transport matters including reviewing and approving traffic management plans, responding to customer enquiries and supporting the wider team on projects in the Council Plan. Work in this role will support the safe and accessible operation of roads within Darebin.

  • Review worksite traffic management plans
  • Respond to transport safety or access concerns from the community
  • Provide high quality advice on transport matters
  • Communicate efficiently with all stakeholders
  • Support larger projects in the team

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in a field related to transport
  • Experience in resolving transport related matters
  • Ability to problem solve using design standards as a basis
  • Great communicator with an ability to adapt considering the audience
  • Enthusiastic about providing high quality customer service
