Do you have a background and experience in the operation and maintenance of theatre and event technical systems? Are you looking for a new challenge in 2018?

We are seeking a talented Venue Technician specialising in performing arts to work as part of a team to deliver high quality technical services at the Goldfields Arts Centre.

You must have exceptional interpersonal skills which allow you to work effectively with tour promoters, as well as take on the challenge of leading and supervising teams. You must have demonstrated experience with a range of lighting design and audio equipment for large scale music performances and theatre productions. 

Passionate about workplace health and safety, you understand legislation and all requirements and assessments needed to keep your team, performers and the community safe at all times.  You will be required to work weekends and outside normal business hours and enjoy being a part of the arts and cultural network in the Goldfields.
