Recreation & Wellbeing Officer

The City of Kalgoorlie Boulder is seeking for a new Recreation and Wellbeing Officer! This community development role requires a charismatic and creative individual with a proven track record in the delivery of community initiatives, as well as proven excellence in stakeholder relations and communications skills. This health and well-being minded individual will also be passionate about creating positive change within the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Working towards fostering better connection, participate and volunteerism on the vast array of opportunities available through a range of different programs, this positions is responsible for the delivery of inclusive and accessible initiatives that aim to build capacity, increase livability and benefits the mental and physical wellbeing of the community.

Within the City Living’s Place and Activation team, this role will work alongside key areas of youth development, events and culture, tourism and attraction, and the Safer Street Patrol.
