Senior Procurement Officer

 
 
The City of Burnside is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and self-driven individual to join the Procurement & Contracts team as the Senior Procurement Officer.  
 
This position will work within a small and dynamic team to provide tendering and procurement services for the City of Burnside. The successful applicant will develop excellent working relationships and work proactively with all stakeholders to actively resolve service delivery and other matters. This position will also take a senior role in the operations of the department with a view to ensuring that quality and competitive contracts are entered into with approved suppliers and appropriate records are maintained.
 
To be successful in this opportunity, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will assist you in building effective relationships, both internally and externally. Your strong negotiation skills, previous experience in procurement and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, activities and projects within tight time frames are essential as is your ability to be self sufficient and display a high level of sound judgement.
 
This position is offered as a permanent full time position and is classified at a Level 6 under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2014 with a salary range from $78,672 - $83,784 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation.
