Human Resources Business Partner

The People Culture & Capability team are looking for an experienced Business Partner to add value in an operationally driven role with a strong ER focus .The team plays an integral part in influencing business strategy and the decision making process. We focus our efforts on operational programs and services that support our employees and our organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Provide advice, support and coaching to managers and staff in people and performance related matters;
  • Assist in the development of strategies, including policies and procedures, to address people priorities, issues and challenges;
  • Provide input and actively participate in various team work and action plans; and
  • Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents and mediation of workplace issues.

This is a true generalist role advising on all aspects of human resources including: HR policy, employee relations, management coaching and advisory, learning and development, employee engagement and retention, performance management and workplace health and safety. This position would ideally suit someone who has experience in partnering with a large blue collar workforce.

Our ideal new team member will have a strong HR background relating to performance management, grievance management, end-to-end recruitment, investigations and delivery of outcomes.
