City of Darwin is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Community Events Producer.

As part of the City Life team, this position is responsible for planning, producing and evaluating a range of Council initiated events and functions designed to promote a positive and engaging image of Darwin.

This position is responsible for liaising across all internal and external stakeholders and requires a comprehensive knowledge of event production, management and logistics. Key elements within the role include a thorough understanding of Community engagement and the ability to liaise with target audiences.

The successful candidate will hold a Tertiary qualification and/or experience in a relevant field such as event management, public relations, marketing or project management. The position requires excellent negotiation and resolution skills, proven budget planning and management and strong communication skills with the ability to drive and initiate project deliverables.
