City of Darwin is seeking an experienced Communications and Public Relations person to join its Communications and Marketing Team.
Reporting to the Executive Manager, this exciting role requires a candidate with experience in communications and public relations (media management) to ensure the successful profiling of Council, its services, people and projects. The Communications and Public Relations Officer will be a dynamic, driven and strong team player, who is able to prioritise competing demands to meet strategic outcomes.
The successful candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing, a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, and proven experience in media engagement and the ability to prepare, implement, monitor and evaluate media strategies.
