Project Portfolio Manager - 18 month contract 

An exciting position has become available at the City of Darwin for a Project Portfolio Manager. The main objective of this role is to project manage and coordinate the delivery of Council's Smart Cities projects including managing external consultants, undertaking reporting requirements, managing the financial expenditure and coordinate key project meetings. This role will also include the management of Council's public lighting network and establishment of LED replacement program, including smart control infrastructure which forms a fundamental element to Council's Smart Cities program.

The successful applicant will require tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a planning related discipline and a minimum of five plus (5+) years' experience in project delivery relevant to local government or equivalent.
