We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Planning Officer to join our Planning Services team. You will be responsible for undertaking the assessment, processing and implementation of statutory planning proposals, conducting planning compliance and assisting with strategic planning projects in accordance with relevant policies and legislation.

To be considered for this position, you will have Urban & Regional Planning qualifications, previous planning experience, preferably a working knowledge of WA town planning legislation along with strong research, report writing and computer skills.

To be successful in this role you will show a high level of customer focus and teamwork. In return for your commitment and high work standards you will be rewarded with a salary circa $70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus up to 14% superannuation.
