Facilities Officer 

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Officer for our client, a government agency based in Parramatta. This is an initial 6 month contract role with possibility of extension and an hourly rate of $45-$49ph + super. 35 hours per week. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to work across multiple sites and a police check will also be conducted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the facilities management function and providing specialist facilities knowledge and skill for all sites
  • Resolve facilities service requests as reported and escalated
  • Procure within approved guidelines various workplace assets and related services.
  • Coordinate relocation/churn/furniture requests for Head Office
  • Coordinate relocation and furniture requests from concierge
  • Deliver on projects and service requests from the business


Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent facilities related project and service delivery.
  • Experience in planning and/or assisting the planning, management and delivery of facilities works relevant to multiple workplace accommodation environments
  • 3 + years in facilities management, property management or related services.
  • Capacity to identify and negotiate best value and most effective facilities activities.
