Alexandrina Council is searching for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our planning and development administration team.

This position ideally suits someone with experience in this field or someone wishing to expand their administrative skills in a specialised field. Given the full range of planning applications from sensitive rural and coastal environments to industrial, commercial and residential developments the position provides a lot of variety.

You will be a dynamic and adaptable person who is looking to obtain invaluable experience within Local Government administration in a diverse environment. This is a full time position, but there may be room to negotiate alternate hours for the right applicant.

Reporting to the Coordinator Planning Assessment, some of the key responsibilities are:
  • To assist with the delivery of the Planning and Development Departments' administrative needs as they relate to the Development Assessment process. 
  • Provide a high level of customer service by attending to enquiries as they relate to planning and development.
