The City of Bunbury is seeking a Team Leader (Gallery Director) for the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery (BRAG). This position is responsible for leading a small team of staff to champion the development and delivery of a cultural arts vision within the Bunbury Geographe and south west region of Western Australia.

This role will be responsible for managing and leveraging partnerships in order to provide contemporary arts and culture services to our community. You will also be required to provide direction and leadership in the consultation, planning and development of strategies, policies, programs and activities which facilitate opportunities for residents and visitors to actively participate in cultural learning. This includes providing an engaging visitor experience, increase audience attendance at the facility and stimulate local arts practice across the region.

The successful candidate will be a team orientated leader who will support the team in a positive and productive manner in accordance with the City of Bunbury's culture program and values.

This position is a permanent full-time position that operates from the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery, Wittenoom Street, Bunbury.

What we offer

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2015 Enterprise Agreement with a Level 7 salary range of $86,047 to $87,149 gross depending on experience and qualifications.

Permanent full-time appointment - 76 hour per fortnight (includes some after-hours commitment to attend exhibitions and openings).

Location: Bunbury Regional Art Gallery, Wittenoom Street, Bunbury.
