Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Operational Technical Officer - Water.
This position reports to the Section Leader (Water and Sewer) and is responsible in undertaking the efficient planning and scheduling of all maintenance and minor capital works within the Water Section using Council systems and processes.
The successful applicant will possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field (Degree is desirable), with a solid five (5) to ten (10) years' relevant experience, including previous experience in the Supervision of staff.
Project management principles, infrastructure maintenance management planning and scheduling as well as knowledge of the technical workings of assets within the Infrastructure Maintenance (Water and Sewer) portfolio will be key to success in this role.
