Business Units Project Accountant

An exciting opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced Project Accountant to join our Commercial Business Units team on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

As our Business Units Project Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • The transition of all Trust financial systems and processes into Council's financial and asset systems
  • Undertake accounting practices for the Coffs Coast State Park Trust in line with statutory obligations
  • Provide regular reporting of business operations in a timely manner and provide business unit managers with quality strategic and expert accounting advice and support.

You will have a degree qualification in Business or Accounting, with a minimum of five years' experience in the accounting field and demonstrated experience in computerised financial management systems.

Salary

Starting salary range of $71,822.78 (Grade 23) pa + Super. All other conditions of employment will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award 2017.
