Team Leader Parking and Local Laws

Permanent full time position
Band 6 ($83,840-$90,837) plus 9.5% Super plus Monthly ADO

Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, gentrification, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities.

Our Parking and Local Laws Team requires an individual who is committed to providing high quality customer service to the community and possesses an interest in community law enforcement.

To be successful in this role, you will need sound judgement and decision making abilities. Proven experience in supervising staff and conflict/dispute resolution skills across a range of challenging issues and situations.

You will have highly developed verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organisational and time management skills. Your sound knowledge and ability to interpret relevant legislation and policies relating to Local Laws is highly regarded.

Previous experience in either a law enforcement role and/or supervision of staff will be considered an advantage.
