Amenity Enforcement Officer/Animal Management

Band 5 ($70,027-$80,120) plus 9.5% Super plus monthly ADO

Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, gentrification, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities.

Our Regulatory Services Department requires an individual who is committed to providing high quality customer service to the community and possesses an interest in community law enforcement.

To be successful in this role, you will need sound judgement and decision making abilities, along with proven experience in consultation and dispute resolution across a range of challenging issues and situations. You must also have an ability to interpret relevant legislation and policies. Experience in an environment requiring daily contact with a broad cross section of the community in a variety of issues would be desirable.

Previous experience in either an Animal Management enforcement role, Certificate 4 in Government (Statutory Compliance) and/or Certificate 4 Animal Control and Regulations will be considered an advantage.
