Band 7 ($93,398) plus 9.5% Super plus monthly ADO

Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. Maribyrnong is becoming a sought after residential area and a destination for foodies.

The People, Culture and Safety Department are looking for an innovative HR Systems and Improvement Advisor to play the lead in the development and implementation of an e-recruitment and onboarding system and other key projects.

The successful incumbent will have a tertiary qualification in human resource management, or related discipline, and demonstrated experience in successful project management, researching and analysing complex HR issues with the ability to align these to the needs of the business.

Your excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships will ensure success in this role.

You will have high-level computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Knowledge and experience of Local Government will an advantage.
