The People, Culture and Safety Service is seeking an experienced human resources generalist to provide contemporary advice and support to all levels of employees within Council.

As part of a small, dedicated service team, you will support the organisation by:

• Providing day to day operational advice and support in a diversity of areas including recruitment and selection, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, and employment related policies, practices and legislation
• Coordinating Council's corporate learning and development and induction programs
• You will possess a tertiary qualification in human resources management related discipline together with relevant experience. You are able to effectively develop and implement policy, programs, and procedures and have well developed presentation skills
• You will also have high level of technical skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Authority applications. Knowledge and experience in Local Government will an advantage
• Having an inclusive and engaging style with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships is key to being successful in this role
