 Part Time position (3 days) – Limited Tenure to April 2016

$61,883 per annum (pro rata)

 Are you interested in leading a team of Support Staff who provide flexible, quality support to clients, ensuring that there is an emphasis on independence and choice for those accessing Home and Community Care at Whitehorse City Council? Council’s Home and Community Care Department provides a range of support services to frail, vulnerable and isolated older persons, people with a disability and primary carers. More than 4200 Whitehorse residents access HACC services that help maintain their strength and ability to remain living at home and participate in community life.

 We are seeking an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing quality services to become an important member of our team.

 To ensure the delivery of quality care to clients in line with the Active Service Model principles, you will utilise your demonstrated supervisory skills to co-ordinate and supervise a geographically based team of support staff and respond appropriately to client issues in coordination with the Assessment team.

You will have relevant Tertiary qualifications in Nursing/ Allied Health or Social Sciences.
