Full Time Temporary

You will provide support and assistance in the delivery of a range of recreation and parks planning projects arising from the Recreation Strategy Plan, Open Space Strategy and Parks Master Plans.

This role will also include stakeholder management and consultation, technical and field support, administration of the Whitehorse Sport and Recreation Network as well as seeking grant funding opportunities.

To secure this role you will have tertiary qualifications in Leisure/Recreation, horticulture or Environmental Science or other related field, demonstrated parks and recreation planning and field experience, knowledge of project management processes, ability to problem solve, excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills as well as an ability to analyse and interpret information regarding recreation and parks planning issues and trends.

This position is a full time, temporary maternity leave replacement commencing September 2015.
