 As part of the Transport Team the successful applicant for this role will be a Senior Transport Engineer who will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and sustainable transport policies, strategies and projects that will lead to less reliance on cars in the City of Whitehorse. You will also undertake traffic management and road safety investigations, parking analysis and management, community consultation, development of sound technical solutions, assess planning applications, preparation of concept plans and traffic management schemes.

 To be successful in this position you will need a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline and several years relevant local government experience in the traffic and transport field. Excellent computer skills, report writing skills, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
